Katy had just finished hunting and was caring two plump mice in her laws and felt the wind gently blowing her white fur. She trotted quietly, looking for a place to eat her prize and spotted a fairly large rock with a warm patch of sun which looked like honey was melted on top and laid down, feeling the sun soak in her mated fur.
She felt a sudden sting on her left flank and remembered how she had gotten into a fight with the mountain pack because she had "stolen" their prey. Katy believed that all wolfs had a right to eat any prey they found, if they won it fair. In the far of distance she heard an angry howl alerting the mountain pack to be on the look out for the thief... which was her. Sighing she got to her feet and stared at the mountains with determination, telling herself, Those wolfs have no idea how easy it is to steal from them.
Katy howled and felt her furry legs grow to soft skin and flesh and thus she became human again. Although her yellow eyes were still glowing with hunger, she set off again in the direction of the mountains to catch more prey. As the air got thinner she began to breath harder. which told her she had reached her destination. At once her head turned to the see a squirrel rustling in a near by bush and she turned back into a wolf taking only 5 seconds. She stalked it until she neared the edge of cliff and pounced, killing it in one swift movement of her paw. As she trotted over to her kill, she heard paw steps and turned to face a paker. Her fur stood on end and she drew her lip back in a snarl, saying, "Well, if it isn't the annoying pakers."
