At the bottom of this post, you'll find suggestions for better conduct on this forum. Although they're not rules, if complained about by other members, there might be repercussions. This is due to the fact that they affect understanding of the posts and the ease of reading them. This isn't to cause any issues but rather to make everything easier for everyone on the site.
1. No chatplay. This site is geared towards paragraph style roleplay so roleplay replies that follow the lines of Tyler smacked himself "Moron". So yeah, if posts like that are caught, the post will be deleted and the member will get a verbal warning.
2. No powerplay. What does this mean? It means that you cannot automatically land hits. (Permission can be given if previous arrangements are made. Please post this at the top of those post though.)
3. No Godmodeling/Ghosting. This means that you cannot take control of another person's character, even for small things such as eye movement. It can only be done with the permission of the character's owner. If you are given permission, then it must be put in bold at the beginning of the post that you do have permission.
4. No Autodefense. You're going to have to get sometime, if you are caught doing this enough- we will ban you from fighting in roleplay.
5. Keep it within the realm of possibility- with exceptions. We may be a shifter group, but that does not mean we have second senses to know where there's danger or if someone's passed the boarder. There is also a passage of time, so remember that if your character is a good distance away. You won't always be able to save someone. This also means that there cannot be things such as magickal armor sets that appear when you're in wolf form. (Please contact Angus for exceptions.)
6. Killing may only be done with the permission of the other roleplayer.
7. No sexual activity. We have an absolute no tolerance rule with this. If it is caught, your board with immediately be shut down and you will jump to the next warning level without hesitation. We do allow steamy moments, but you should have enough common sense to know when to stop and time skip. Sorry, but this must be regulated or the site could get shut down.
8. No text-talk. You is not 'u', too is not '2', talk to you later is not 'ttyl.' The only exception to this is if your character is typing out a text message, otherwise, it's not allowed.
9. Don't double post. We frown upon this. If you need to add something, you can edit your post before someone else posts but bumping and general double posting will get deleted and you can be warned for it.
10. Quality and Quantity. Please attempt to match the other roleplayers, but if you can't, we have a seven sentence minimum requirement for each post that is put on here. If they're questionable in quality and length, a complaint can be made though.
11. Do not request for a staff position. Do not join and instantly expect to get a staff position. If you are asked to join staff, you can politely accept or decline. If some of you are wondering why some of your fellow members have gotten higher ranking positions than you, but have less activity. Well, to answer that is quite simple. It is because o have gotten to know them very well on other RP sites and know that they are trustworthy of a staff position. If you want to complain about it. Feel free to PM me and express your personal dilemma. (Sorry, just had to put this in here due to the fact that on some of my other rp sites I've had members join and expect a staff position just for joining. That really irritates me and quite frankly makes me want to make sure you never join staff. There are a lot of open staff positions, all you have to do is prove that you are worthy of having them. If you wish to apply for a staff position, please shoot William a message.)
We reserve the right to put more rules in place as they're needed. If you have any questions. Feel free to PM William.
Guidelines:
~Please try your best to have fun with it. We're not here to restrict you, we're simply trying to ensure the best experience.
~Double space between paragraphs, it makes it easier to read.
~Stay in one point of view, it can get confusing otherwise. If we get complaints about it, we will have to warn you, sorry.
~Be sure to refresh before you post, make sure that someone didn't post before you.
~Attempt to use your best grammar and make as few mistakes as you can. Since we're human, many will be forgiven.
